Learn British Sign Language in a natural environment
We at Genie Networks recognise the importance of practicing British Sign Language in a natural environment.

For this reason we have planned a retreat for British Sign Language users and students in a beautiful location in the peak district, The Nightingale Centre 18th 20th July 2014 http://www.thenightingalecentre.org.uk

We will have sole use of the venue which sleeps up to 67 people. All the food, tea, coffee and water included (alcoholic drinks available to purchase at small fee).

The retreat will include social activities, tuition for beginners, intermediate, advanced learners. There will be specific sessions covering topics for interpreters e.g. signed vocabulary for mental health, sexual health etc. For those who require evidence for their portfolio, the weekend can be a valuable opportunity for NVQ/Interpreter evidence collection.

The all-inclusive fee for the weekend is £300. This includes 2 nights stay, workshops, 6 meals and unlimited tea, coffee and fresh water. Travel to venue not included. The nearest train station is Hope. There is ample free car parking at the venue.

A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required by 20th October to reserve your place and so we can secure sole use of the venue. The rest of the fee is due by 1st April 2014

Any questions or to book your place please contact us on information@genienetworks.org.uk or by contact details listed below.

Kind Regards,

Minna Moffatt-Feldman
