I am involved with the sport of Underwater hockey.
I am interested in making it more available to all. I have realised that deaf people may find this sport quite inclusive. There is no sound communication underwater between team members. Part of the reason I like it (not much swearing...screaming etc). It also involves reading body language which may be an advantage for deaf ...I don't know. I would like to introduce deaf people to this. Has anybody any advice or points that I should be aware of. I would need some help with communication during teaching need to find people who would be able to get in the water with coaches. I am interesed in youngsters & adults.
